HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
We had a wonderful holiday with the girls this year. Jovie was the PERFECT age and was so excited about all Christmas had to offer. The tree, the lights, Jesus' Birthday, the cookie decorating, and of course the presents! She enjoyed helping decorate the tree and even had a mini Christmas tree in her own room! We had quite a few Christmas' this year, starting off by driving to Des Moines to spend a day with Grandma Shirley and the Hilsabeck's at Uncle Chuck's and Aunt Cynda's! Grandma Shirley enjoyed seeing the girls and they sure enjoyed her!!
Steve had to work over Christmas each day, so the girls and I had plenty of play time and time to decorate cookies!
We had family over almost every night! We made homemade pizzas and ate delicious cheesecake with Jack, Kris, and Dean!
LeAnne came over to celebrate with us as well. Spoiled the girls rotten of course!!
Next up was Grandma Cindy! She stayed and kept us company all weekend, which was WONDERFUL!
And last but not least was Papa Kirky, Poopy, Crazy Kelly, and Grandma Cindy!!
The New Year was rung in by us going to the Mt. Vernon Middle School with some friends and letting our kiddos play in the gym, and letting us adults play some good old basketball and dodge ball. We then went to a friends for supper and were home early!! (8:30)!! In bed by 9:45 PM. Holy crap we are boring!! :)
